Lexington R-V Early Childhood Center (Ali's Place)

Ali’s Place, Lexington R-V School District’s Early Childhood Center, caters to children three to five years of age. Program curriculum uses elements of the Project Construct Philosophy (approved by the Department of Education), which teaches that learners construct knowledge through interactions with physical and social environments.

Through “hands-on, minds-on” learning experiences, students in constructivist classrooms attain deep understandings in the core content areas while they also learn to work collaboratively with adults and peers. They are also equipped with tools to learn how to be lifelong problem solvers.

The Center’s believes that young children learn best through active play rather than passive learning.

The Center’s full day schedule is from 7:50 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The half day schedule is from 7:50 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
